The staff members were extremely accommodating and friendly, particularly with our children. We appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, as everything from the linens to the sinks looked well-maintained.

Budget stay for weary travelers

The staff were accommodating and the cleanliness of the room was surprisingly good. Had a few laughs with Justice at the front desk, she made sure I was checked in without a hitch. You don’t get that kind of dedication everywhere! And when I needed advice on local spots to eat, she didn’t hesitate to help.

It wasn’t exactly a steal being here, but it was still within reasonable limits for what I needed.

The room was ready when I arrived, and I loved being so close to the beautiful peoria zoo as well as the charming peoria riverfront museum, making my weekend strolls truly enjoyable. as a solo traveler, it’s great to have easy access to such lovely parks nearby for a relaxing day out.

I stayed in a Queen Room, Non-Smoking for one night. The bed was comfy, but the bathroom could really use some updating. Linens were clean, which was nice, but minimal toiletries were provided. I liked the cozy seating area, though! It was spacious enough for a quick stay.

And not far off, Smo-King Pit serves some wicked BBQ that'll knock you right off your feet.

Now, the downside? They promised me a handicap room, but when I arrived, it was first come, first served. Not cool! The stairs were a struggle, but the room itself was clean and decent enough. Smo-King BBQ might be the real MVP around here.
